The SaunaLife E8W utilizes 1.65-inch thick full-length Thermo-Spruce staves, providing solid thermal insulation and dimensional stability for outdoor use. Thermo-Spruce is chemically untreated, eco-friendly, and engineered to resist warping and weathering better than standard cedar. Inside, the 6-foot 5-inch interior height solves the cramped headroom issue common in smaller barrel models, allowing most adults to stand and move without awkward ducking. Seating features 1.1-inch thick, knot-free Thermo-Aspen benches and contoured backrests designed for proper lumbar support.

Assembly is designed as a DIY project for two people over the course of a day, anchored by heavy-duty stainless steel barrel bands and secured against rain with an included black shingle roof kit. Practical additions include dual floor drains—one under the heater and one near the door—to manage water runoff effectively. The unit features a tempered bronze glass door and a striking half-moon panoramic rear window that brings natural light inside. The package also includes a 24VDC Wi-Fi-enabled white LED light bar system. Note that the sauna heater, stones, and dedicated 240V electrical supplies are not included in the baseline kit and must be factored into your total installation budget.
