Constructed from 1.57-inch thick thermally-treated Scandinavian pine, the Viva 210 utilizes sturdy 40mm ThermoWood walls and flooring to provide excellent natural insulation and resistance to moisture warping. The timber undergoes a high-heat thermal modification process, making it dimensionally stable for year-round outdoor installation across harsh winter and summer climates. Inside, smooth thermo-alder benches maintain a comfortable touch temperature even when the cabin is running hot.

This kit is designed for versatile heating compatibility, supporting either an electric unit (recommended 8kW to 11kW output) or a wood-burning stove, both sold separately. Electric configurations will require a dedicated 220-240V hardwired electrical connection handled by a licensed electrician. An advanced three-point ventilation system—featuring an intake by the heater, low exhaust, and an upper drying vent—works to keep fresh oxygen circulating and balance the steam distribution.

Assembly relies on a DIY-friendly modular panel system that two people can typically put together in a single day using standard tools. However, the heavy bronze-tempered glass door requires careful handling and likely a third set of hands to align safely. A durable EPDM rubber roof membrane seals the stave-built ceiling against rain and snow, while an annual exterior application of UV-protective varnish keeps the timber looking clean over time.
