The Leil Viva 180 is constructed from 1.57-inch thick thermally-treated Scandinavian pine, known as ThermoWood, which helps resist moisture, warping, and swelling in various outdoor climates. The interior features thermo-alder benches and backrests designed to have low thermal conductivity so they stay comfortable at higher temperatures. A three-point ventilation system—consisting of an intake near the heater, exhaust beneath the benches, and an upper adjustable drying vent—balances airflow throughout the 205 cubic-foot interior.

Assembly is designed as a modular DIY project utilizing prefabricated wall, floor, and ceiling panels that typically go together in a single day with two people, though the heavy glass door requires careful handling. The roof is sealed with an EPDM rubber membrane for outdoor weather protection, while the structure rests on a stable, level surface like a concrete pad or reinforced deck. Because heaters are sold separately, buyers will need to source a compatible 9kW to 11kW electric or wood-burning unit alongside a professional electrician to handle the required 220-240V hardwired circuit.
