The Galley barrel sauna is built using 1 3/8-inch thick red cedar staves assembled with a ball and socket design, which helps maintain structural integrity and insulation against outdoor temperatures. Stainless steel hardware and weather-resistant support cradles provide added durability for outdoor setups. The included 6kW Harvia electric heater runs on a dedicated 240V circuit and reaches temperatures between 170 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit, utilizing the included sauna stones to generate traditional steam when water is added.

Measuring 74 inches long, 72 inches wide, and 78 inches high, the interior features long side benches that comfortably seat four people sitting upright or allow one person to fully lie down. Assembly is required as a kit, and the package includes practical additions such as a flat floor kit, a shingled roof to shed rain, and a standard accessory set consisting of a water bucket, ladle, thermo-hygrometer, and sand timer.
