Maxxus Saunas bring healthy living and longevity to the privacy of your home cost effectively. Modern technology and energy efficiency in FAR infrared carbon heating panels allow beneficial penetrating FAR infrared waves to remove body toxins, increase blood circulation, ease pain from sore muscles or aching joints, burn calories and improve skin tone among other benefits. Maxxus Saunas are constructed with the environment in mind which accounts for our efforts in using Reforested Canadian Hemlock wood. Our sauna walls are double paneled constructed with the thickest interior and exterior wood planks compared to others in the same industry. This all translates to a quality sauna that retains heat more efficiently, heats up faster and wastes less energy. Maxxus Saunas 3 Person model offers 7 infrared Carbon Energy Efficient heating panels (including an industry leading foot heater) that produce a wider, softer heat that is evenly distributed throughout the sauna. Our infrared Carbon Energy Efficient heating panel heaters are 30% larger than saunas heated by ceramic tubes and penetrate skin 40% more to maximize therapeutic benefits. Maxxus Saunas 3-person sauna is designed for ease of use and is an outstanding value. Enjoy the convenience of operating a Maxxus Sauna with our soft touch control panel and LED display. Every Maxxus Sauna is equipped with floor and lower bench heater to allow the same benefits and treatment to your legs and feet. Enjoy your sauna session with your favorite music through the sauna's built in FM radio, CD and MP3 auxiliary connection with speakers. The sauna plugs into a dedicated 20 amp 120 volt outlet (please consult a certified electrician for replacing a 15 amp dedicated receptacle to an approved 20 amp dedicated receptacle and 20 amp breaker). The sauna may be installed on carpet and at any indoor location including the basement, garage, master bath or walk in closet. Indoor Use Only.

Project Specifications & Guidance

Foundation & Weight
Level Support

The sauna weighs approx. 320 pounds empty. Needs a flat, level surface. For indoor use, tile, concrete, or vinyl flooring is fine. For outdoor cabin saunas, build a concrete or gravel pad.

Electrical Requirement
120V Dedicated

Runs on a standard 110V-120V dedicated 15-20 Amp household circuit. Plug-and-play, but ensure no other high-draw appliances share the circuit.

Backyard Spacing
Clearances

Sauna dimensions are 63.5 x 43.3 x 74.8 inches. Allow at least 2 feet of clearance around all sides for barrel bands adjustment and airflow. Make sure there are no low-hanging trees above.

Timber Maintenance
Sealing & Care

Apply a high-quality UV-inhibiting, water-repellent sealant to the outer wood surfaces immediately after assembly. Never apply stain or sealer to the inside walls or benches.

Action Checklist0 / 5 Done

Select and install a level, solid foundation pad.
Consult an electrician and lay electrical conduit.
Check local zoning laws and setbacks from property lines.
Purchase external wood sealant (UV/Water repellent).
Ensure at least 2-3 feet of ventilation space on all sides.

Zoning Note: Most cities allow saunas under 120 sq ft without a building permit, but setbacks from property fences (usually 3-5 ft) are still enforced.
